School Field Trips

Offering educational agri-tourism school field trips is important for us here at the Applestem Corn Maze.   We believe it’s important that the features and benefits of agriculture is something that all children should have the chance to learn or inquire about.  We are able to help accomplish this objective in an educational way and a fun environment too!

  • ​When are Fall School Field Trips Available?
    ​Beginning Wed., Sept. 17 through Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 Schools and Youth Organizations are welcome Wednesday - Friday from 9:00AM - 3:00PM.
    ​Field Trips Include
    ​During the week, all of the attractions we have available here at the farm will be open for students and organizations to enjoy with the exception of the cow train and the grain train.  We also offer an educational tour of our farm, which is an enhanced learning experience for everyone.
    ​Reservations
    Reservations for a school field trip or a school organization are required to participate.   
    Admission Rates For Schools & Organizations
    Farm admission for students, parents, and chaperones is $5.00 per person and Pre-K is $2.00 per person during the week. Teachers are admitted at no charge.

    On weekends, admission is regular price with group discounts:
    • Groups of up to 9:  $11.00 per person.
    • Groups of 10 - 19: $10.00 per person.
    • Groups of 20 and up:  $9.00 per person.

  • Drinking Water
    ​Please provide your group or party with drinking water as we do not have water fountains available at the ranch.  We will have bottled water available for sale at our concession stand.
    What to Wear
    Dress appropriately for a day of Montana outdoor activities and weather conditions.  Wear jeans and closed toe shoes.   Bring your suncreen;  caps or hats are recommended.
    Picnic Lunches
    ​You may bring picnic lunches on your field trip.   Tables are available for your group.
    Restrooms
    We do have restrooms and hand washing stations available on site.  It is a good idea to bring hand sanitizer along as well.
    ADA Compatible
    Our facilities and restrooms are ADA compatible.  In the maze and on the grounds, just know that the ride might get a little bumpy at times.
  • Are you open during the week?
    We are not open to the public during the week. During the week, we host church groups, field trips, schools, organizations, and parties.  ​The only exception that we are open to the public is during Fall Week when we are open on MEA Days on Wednesday October 15th from 5:00pm-9:00pm,  Thursday October 16th and Friday October 17th from 1:00pm - 9:00pm.

    How long will you be open during the season?
    For the 2025 season, we will be open from September 13th to October 26th.

    What are your hours?
    ​We are open to the public on Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 1pm-9pm, and Sundays 1pm-6pm.

    How much does it cost?
    ​​General Admission on Friday through Sunday is $11 per person for ages 5 and up, 4 and under are free.  Please visit Field Trips and Groups / Parties for registered weekday trip admission and group rates.

    Can I bring my dog?
    ​Yes, we just ask that you clean up after them and keep them on a leash.

    ​Do you haunt?
    ​The Haunted Maze will not be featured during the season.

    ​Do you accept credit cards?
    ​​Yes, we accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.
